The Meta-Awareness Exercise is a short, guided, 20-minute mindfulness-inspired audio designed to help you relate differently to your thoughts, emotions, and inner experience. It can be used immediately after purchase and requires no prior experience with meditation or mindfulness.

Through gentle guidance, you are invited to observe thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise, without judgment and without the need to change them. This shift in perspective helps loosen identification with negative thoughts, emotional patterns, and limiting self-beliefs, creating more inner peace and happiness over time.
For many people, a noticeable change in mood can already be felt after a single practice!

As a bonus, the exercise includes the FREE digital handbook, Living From Awareness. This e-handbook deepens your understanding of how the mind becomes conditioned and how awareness can create lasting inner change. It offers a clear, grounded perspective on cultivating mental peace and serves as a supportive companion to the audio practice.

Safety note: When this exercise may not be suitable

This exercise is gentle and supportive for many people. However, it may not be appropriate for everyone at every moment.

If you are currently experiencing severe or acute mental health difficulties, this practice may feel overwhelming or destabilizing rather than supportive. In particular, this exercise may not be suitable if you are experiencing:

Acute psychosis, hallucinations, or delusional thinking

Severe dissociation or depersonalization

Untreated or unstable bipolar disorder (especially during manic or mixed episodes)

Active suicidal thoughts or crisis states

Severe post-traumatic stress where turning inward immediately triggers intense flashbacks or panic

In these situations, bringing attention inward without sufficient support can increase distress rather than reduce it.

If you notice that observing your inner experience causes strong panic, confusion, emotional flooding, or a sense of losing control, it is important to pause the exercise. Ground yourself in your environment, and seek support if needed.

This practice is not a replacement for professional mental health care. If you are unsure whether this exercise is appropriate for you, or if you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended to discuss this practice with them before continuing.

For some people, this exercise becomes more helpful after a certain level of stability, safety, and support has been established.

Always move at your own pace. There is no benefit in pushing through distress. Safety, stability, and self-compassion come first.
